- Went to the Fort Worth Zoo on Sunday. There is so much evidence of the 'old zoo' still around. I wish there was a website with old maps and pics of it from years ago.
- The worst of the trailer trash mobile home was hauled away Friday. So nice!
- If you go into a McDonald's to use their wifi have the decency to at least buy one item.
- I cannot believe what the president said this weekend. If you ever doubted he was a Socialist, his statement puts a nail in that coffin.
- He wants us to live like our comrades across the sea, all equal in concrete blocs, not working, relying on him to feed us. HONESTLY, I think he does.

- Why is the financial future of our whole nation (and likely the world) in the hands of people who got where they are by campaigning??? They should only be allowed to make these decisions if they are economic professors or something! It's so frustrating!
- We ate at Outback before seeing Wicked. It was the worst experience I have ever had there. I love that place and will go back. I just made sure I let them know it was bad.
- Our hedgehog died last night. They don't live very long. She died at the ripe old age of 3.
- There was a nasty 90+ MPH accident involving 4 teens just North of Decatur. I think 2 were decapitated and the other 2 are in hospital. They NEED to haul whats left of that car and put it right outside the high school for a month.
- Tonight we are going to see Wicked in Dallas. 3 Rows back in the middle. We will be able to see up their noses!
- Continuing on my murderous rampage of small animals (like the rabbit I killed a few weeks back) I killed a little frog with the weed eater yesterday. :(
- Why are flies attracted to our president? I have seen 3 instance were files were an issue with him.
- I finished watching TimeSlip (the 70's scifi British show). They just jumped the shark to end it. Seemed they didn't know how to end it.

- The bees were going crazy in the crepe mertyl this morning.
- Don't you hate soda company contests now a days? They say every bottle wins and it usually something crappy (like unlocking some crappy feature on a game system you don't even own). Either way YOU HAVE to go online and put a code in. That SUCKS!
- Don't you remember when Dr. Pepper had a contest and 1 in 4 caps had a winner in it? You just took the cap to the store and got another 20oz. That was awesome!
- Do you remember the coke contest where they put actually cash in the cans? They were elaborate phony cans that would 'eject' the cash when you opened it. It felt like a regular can of coke too. That was double awesome.
- This story lets you know how namby-pamby this nation has turned. We need a good old war on our own turf to toughen us up.
- The interwebs was out at our house all night. I thought we might have a riot on our hands.
- The wife got a job at Harris Hospital in Fort Worth. She starts next month... I am very relieved. I will be more so when I can remove her off my insurance and save 200.00 a paycheck.
- After I got 2 (the Census is coming) notices from the government as well as a bag, pen, notepad, and water bottle and finally the actual Census (back in April) I got a visit Monday from Census workers who asked me the exact same thing that was on the form I filled out back in April. Why not do it twice at twice the price? These people are about to start running our healthcare...
- The oil spill is like blood in the water when it comes to the government seeing ways to grab more money. I don't think the US government would even blink if they caused this company to go under.
- Ever listen to Mark Levin, he is great. He throws these tantrums about the government and it is so entertaining.

- Got about half way through re-editing episode 1 of season 3 last night.
- Was going to get the beetle inspected today but it started acting up this morning.

- People who shop in Goodwill need to touch everything. I guess that's why I shop there.
- They knocked down the Wedgewood bowl in Fort Worth. What a sad day. It's been closed for nearly 20 years though. The last time I went there was with my step father's brother back in the 80's.
- It was another weekend full of bad, nasty, and slow drivers.
- I ate at the new Taco Casa in Decatur last week. It was nearly 8 bucks for 4 tacos and a tea. I remember when my mom used to send me to the local Taco Casa in Fort Worth where I got tacos 4 for a dollar!
- Why do all the Frank Kent billboards in Fort Worth say nothing about cars? All they ever do is show and tell you how great the Frank Kent family is. "Look hot we are. And were' richer than you too."
- The worst of the worst white trash finally abandoned their mobile home in our general neighboorhood. I am very happy about that.
- I got my Beetle back from the shop... and immediatley ran over a poor bunny with it. :(
- I saw a Bloom County comic collection in the Half Price clearance section. Does anyone like that strip? I equate it with Calvin and Hobbes... SNOOOOZZZEEE
- The buyers flaked out (after holding our house hostage for 2 months)!

- I remember when you rented an apartment you paid X amount of dollars for rent. Now a days you pay X dollars + gas +water +waste water/sewer. They don't tell you have to pay for all this extra stuff until YOU ARE RIGHT ABOUT TO SIGN the lease.

- We went to one of my favorite shopping places this weekend (Goodwill). It seems like everyone there was a 'I have to touch EVERYTHING on the shelves' type of shopper.
- Apparently CVS is coming to Decatur. I like CVS better than Walgreens.
- Did you know Walgreens used to be Wallgreen? People added an 's' to the end for so long the company changed the name.
- Can you remember Eckards? All you have to do is think of Walgreens and change all the signs. Drugstore chains ALL LOOK THE SAME INSIDE.

- Pancho's is... blech. I'm surprised there are any left.
- Several years back Pancho's went 'healthy' by changing their mascot to a thinner, healthier guy... I have noticed that NONE of the 'healthy' Pancho mascot restaurants are open around here...
