Monday Thoughts

• I finally got electricity down to my shed yesterday with the help of my Father in law. That turned out to be a big pain the in but but it works now!
• Electrical wire is VERY expensive (the copper inside it). I did find a roll that was a hundred dollars cheaper (because it was round and not the flat kind).
• I thought we were gonna get a tornado yesterday in New Fairview... no dice.
• We had a fairly simple Easter lunch. It was very good.
• The older I get the better simpler holiday meals appeal to me.

Monday Thoughts

• I had a horrible accident this weekend. I knocked over my external hard drive and the hard drive broke. It had EVERYTHING I save on it! I am having to send it away to have the data recovered.
• I was just finishing Episode 1 of Season 3 when it happened. Arrrrg!
• The back of my Suave Ocean Breez shampoo says it will make you feel ocean fresh...
  The marketing person who wrote that has obviously never been in the ocean.
• The pool is STILL too cold to get in.... come on already!!!
• I watched the Collector this weekend... ehhhhh.
• I watched Surrogates this weekend. It was ok. I like movies set in the not too distant future.
• I watched the 2nd set from TimeSlip (a 70's British sci fi show). It was all in black and white until the final episode. Really strange to see it in color all the sudden.
• Is it just me or should the Wise County Messenger just be renamed - The Wise County Traffic Accident Report?

Thursday Thoughts

• Ate at Joe's Pizza and Pasta in Decatur today. It's great food but I don't feel they will be around in another year.
• Still a little sick. I hope this clears up soon.
• It's Thursday that mean Chris will be over for our weekly meeting.
• We will be shooting more of episode 1 tonight (of season 3).
• I found one of my lost childhood treasures online (after years of searching). Here it is. My imagination had made it much better than it actually is.
• Cleaned out the fish tank again last night. What a chore. They are dirty fish.
• Watched Saw 6 last night too. The story is getting so convoluted its hard to keep up with.
• Still never heard from the Wise County Messenger. They interviewed us for the community focus several months back... yet another letdown.

Wednesday Thoughts

• We were supposed to have snow yesterday but it hit South of here. That makes me happy.
• The yard is like a swamp. It really needs a good solid week of drying out.
• The cafe here at the hospital ran out of Ketchup yesterday... everyone panic!
• I am watching Faulty Towers at the moment. That show is a jam packed 30 minutes.
• When I was in the cafe getting breakfast I saw them making the stuff for today's lunch. It's taco salad. Man do I love to eat. I can't wait for lunch!
• Speaking of eating there is a Shell station on 730 and 287 that makes the best crispitos. I mean the best! They make all sorts of food items there and they have one of those Hunt Bros. Pizza in there too!
• One downside to that place is that it's always crowded.
• Decatur high is just down the street so in the morning you will usually see kids with too much money getting stuff there.
• When I was a teen none of us (in my school) had a car less than ten years old.
• All these kids have current model vehicles.
• I guess that's my generation's "up hill, barefoot, in 2 feet of snow" story.
