- Why does Subway feel the need to make you feel bad about what you eat in order to drum up business?
- People who shop in Goodwill need to touch everything. I guess that's why I shop there.
- They knocked down the Wedgewood bowl in Fort Worth. What a sad day. It's been closed for nearly 20 years though. The last time I went there was with my step father's brother back in the 80's.
- It was another weekend full of bad, nasty, and slow drivers.
- I ate at the new Taco Casa in Decatur last week. It was nearly 8 bucks for 4 tacos and a tea. I remember when my mom used to send me to the local Taco Casa in Fort Worth where I got tacos 4 for a dollar!
- Why do all the Frank Kent billboards in Fort Worth say nothing about cars? All they ever do is show and tell you how great the Frank Kent family is. "Look hot we are. And were' richer than you too."
- The worst of the worst white trash finally abandoned their mobile home in our general neighboorhood. I am very happy about that.
- I got my Beetle back from the shop... and immediatley ran over a poor bunny with it. :(
- I saw a Bloom County comic collection in the Half Price clearance section. Does anyone like that strip? I equate it with Calvin and Hobbes... SNOOOOZZZEEE
- The buyers flaked out (after holding our house hostage for 2 months)!
- I have a REAL bad taste in my mouth when it comes to the whole realestate thing now.
- The only thing I have to let you know about today is the results of the whole hard drive crash fiasco.

- I remember when you rented an apartment you paid X amount of dollars for rent. Now a days you pay X dollars + gas +water +waste water/sewer. They don't tell you have to pay for all this extra stuff until YOU ARE RIGHT ABOUT TO SIGN the lease.

- We went to one of my favorite shopping places this weekend (Goodwill). It seems like everyone there was a 'I have to touch EVERYTHING on the shelves' type of shopper.
- Apparently CVS is coming to Decatur. I like CVS better than Walgreens.
- Did you know Walgreens used to be Wallgreen? People added an 's' to the end for so long the company changed the name.
- Can you remember Eckards? All you have to do is think of Walgreens and change all the signs. Drugstore chains ALL LOOK THE SAME INSIDE.
- Does it really take a whole MONTH to process a home loan? Really...
- Tonight is 'yard work' night. Too exciting.
- Pancho's is... blech. I'm surprised there are any left.
- Several years back Pancho's went 'healthy' by changing their mascot to a thinner, healthier guy... I have noticed that NONE of the 'healthy' Pancho mascot restaurants are open around here...

- The data recovery place says the hard drive is unrecoverable. I am calling bullshit on that. I am sending it to another place.
- I was able to get into the pool last week. Still chilly, but good enough.
- The economy is still in a 'recovery'? Yeah, right.
- I just watched the Nightmare on Elm Street Doco: 'Never Sleep Again'. If you ever wanted to know anything about that movie series check it out.
- The 3rd season of Time Slip is in black and white again... I guess the color season finale was just a one time special. That's an interesting concept, using color to make an episode an extra special event.
- Taco Casa here in Decatur is almost open. I saw someone at Walmart in a Taco Casa uniform.
- The crappy hotel next to 287 (I think its a Super 8) finally emptied out their pool. It was like a black swamp. It gets that way every year.
- I had a horrible accident this weekend. I knocked over my external hard drive and the hard drive broke. It had EVERYTHING I save on it! I am having to send it away to have the data recovered.
- I was just finishing Episode 1 of Season 3 when it happened. Arrrrg!
- The back of my Suave Ocean Breez shampoo says it will make you feel ocean fresh...
The marketing person who wrote that has obviously never been in the ocean. - The pool is STILL too cold to get in.... come on already!!!
- I watched the Collector this weekend... ehhhhh.
- I watched Surrogates this weekend. It was ok. I like movies set in the not too distant future.
- I watched the 2nd set from TimeSlip (a 70's British sci fi show). It was all in black and white until the final episode. Really strange to see it in color all the sudden.
- Is it just me or should the Wise County Messenger just be renamed - The Wise County Traffic Accident Report?
- I've been in interface training this week so everything else has been on the back burner.
- I think the real estate game is just that a game (unless you have CASH).
- Yet another credit card company cut my available balance for no reason... won't use them again.
- We need some rain up in here! Can't believe I am saying that.
- I need a bailout, everyone else gets one... why can't I?
- There is a point when you house is so clean that you don't see it being clean anymore and you start seeing all the stuff that needs to be cleaned (but that no one else sees).
- Out of the whole year the pool in the backyard is only swimable for like 3 months at the most.
- I found some great board games on Amazon that were crazy cheap. I can't wait to get them in the mail.
- It's mother's day weekend. Sunday is going to be a beating if you plan on going out to eat.
- Visited LoneStar Park Friday night. I was surprised to find kids there. With all the booze and betting...
- We picked up library cards from Benbrook then went to the Central Fort Worth Library to check out books. We had to get cards from Benbrook to keep from paying FW to get books.
- Its been a few months since I have gotten to go to the FW library. There was a bunch of new audio books! Yay!
- I upgraded my PC at work and ran fiber from it straight to the core switch. Super fast!!!
- Ate at Outback on Saturday. Oh man I love those steaks!
