- The data recovery place says the hard drive is unrecoverable. I am calling bullshit on that. I am sending it to another place.
- I was able to get into the pool last week. Still chilly, but good enough.

- The 3rd season of Time Slip is in black and white again... I guess the color season finale was just a one time special. That's an interesting concept, using color to make an episode an extra special event.
- Taco Casa here in Decatur is almost open. I saw someone at Walmart in a Taco Casa uniform.
- The crappy hotel next to 287 (I think its a Super 8) finally emptied out their pool. It was like a black swamp. It gets that way every year.
- I had a horrible accident this weekend. I knocked over my external hard drive and the hard drive broke. It had EVERYTHING I save on it! I am having to send it away to have the data recovered.
- I was just finishing Episode 1 of Season 3 when it happened. Arrrrg!

- I watched the Collector this weekend... ehhhhh.
- I watched Surrogates this weekend. It was ok. I like movies set in the not too distant future.
- I watched the 2nd set from TimeSlip (a 70's British sci fi show). It was all in black and white until the final episode. Really strange to see it in color all the sudden.

- We picked up library cards from Benbrook then went to the Central Fort Worth Library to check out books. We had to get cards from Benbrook to keep from paying FW to get books.
- Its been a few months since I have gotten to go to the FW library. There was a bunch of new audio books! Yay!
- I upgraded my PC at work and ran fiber from it straight to the core switch. Super fast!!!
- Ate at Outback on Saturday. Oh man I love those steaks!
- I was watching Harry Potter and the Sorcer's Stone. You can visibly see Harry age from scene. It's distracting.
- The next 2 weeks is make for break for my wife and her future career.
- Taco Casa in Decatur is almost done. There is a hiring sign out there now.

- My VW is still in the shop. I am almost afraid to call and ask about it because I am not sure I will have the cash on hand to pay for the repairs.
- I was home the other day when there was this huge boom and the house shook. I thought something happened to the house (the the carport collapsed or something).
- Read later that it was believed to be a sonic boom of a jet. At first they thought it was a gas well explosion. Probably a secret government project.
- The pool is still to cold to get in. I am guessing it won't be till the end of May that I can comfortably get in.
- I have decided that CVS is better than Walgreens.
- Saturday I had a game day with Chris and James (and Candice).

- Ate at Joe's Pizza and Pasta in Decatur today. It's great food but I don't feel they will be around in another year.

- It's Thursday that mean Chris will be over for our weekly meeting.
- We will be shooting more of episode 1 tonight (of season 3).
- I found one of my lost childhood treasures online (after years of searching). Here it is. My imagination had made it much better than it actually is.
- Cleaned out the fish tank again last night. What a chore. They are dirty fish.
- Watched Saw 6 last night too. The story is getting so convoluted its hard to keep up with.
- Still never heard from the Wise County Messenger. They interviewed us for the community focus several months back... yet another letdown.
- After a couple of weeks dry spell it rained. This time I was ok with the rain.
- I have been slowly cleaning up little areas aound the house as I have free time (under cabinets etc).
- Still no buyers. The 8,000 tax rebate ends at the end of the month. If someone is going to buy it, it better be before then.
- The pool is full to capacity with all the rain. It's time to pump some of it out.
- I probably won't be able to swim until mid May (when it will be warm enough).
- I need a wet but no wind day for burning.
- Still mildly sick. Will this crud ever go away!?
- I am editing Season 3 episode 1 now. I really need to finish season 2!
