Thursday Thoughts

  • If you own a truck = you will be forever bugged to help people move stuff.
  • Bought my wife tickets to see Phantom of the Opera in March at the Music Hall in Dallas. That drive is always such a crapper.
  • The seats are tiny at the Music Hall in Fair Park.

  • Have seen Phantom and Wicked there.
  • Not totally sure what the big deal about musicals is. I am trying however.
  • Got lost on the PC last night playing Heroes of Might and Magic 3. Yeah, it's old but it still rocks.
  • Looked up and it was almost midnight.
  • I'm really tired this morning.
  • State of the Union = not interested... have never been interested. We rarely have a president that is fantastic enough to pay attention to.
  • Walked out of training at work the other day. The trainer was not very good at all.

Tuesday Thoughts

  • Does anyone else remember using BBS' (bulletin board systems)??? I used to use the following one: The Blasted Trumpet 817-467-7103
  • Caught yet another (different) possum under the house... how many freakin' possums are living under there!?!
  • Well, Bill Gates jumped on the 'blame Bush' bandwagon. So what all you 'blamers' are telling me is that even after more than a year out of office his policies are still making our economy stink?
  • O.k. I'll buy that BUT are you then telling me that ALL THIS MONEY that the current administration has be dumping out there has done nothing (good or bad)???
  • I call B.S.
  • Ofcourse as soon as the economy picks up, it won't be Bush's fault... you know that, right?
  • So when the economy pickups up we will know FOR SURE just how long a previous president's policies last, right?
  • Then we can go back and look at Bill Clinton's 'after presidency' and see how things were.
  • You can't have your cake and EAT it too.
  • WASHINGTON... BE A MAN, ADMIT TO YOUR SHORTCOMINGS!!!!
  • You would be surprised how many people would honor you instead of smack talk you if you fessed up to your humanity.

Monday Thoughts

  • I caught yet another possum under the house this weekend.
  • I went back under to the 'fix' and found it 'unfixed' so I fixed it again (I hope for good!).
  • I said some other nonsense thing to the Walmart door lady again this weekend, now it just makes me feel bad.
  • Stopped going to the gym for a week and couple of days, now I am back after a little 'food debauchery'.
  • Strangely I felt physically bad several of my 'no diet' days. I wonder if the crap food had anything to do with it?
  • Have I mentioned Fox News in the morning is a BIG FREAK SHOW. Yeah, I think I did.
  • Oh, did you hear someone else blamed Bush for the economy this weekend?
  • We have moved all the cats into my library room to keep the rest of the house from smelling. I know they hate me now.
  • Oh yeah, we got rid of Hitler House Cat. She now has a loving new family!
  • Went to Walmart in Saginaw this weekend... what economic trouble?
  • Here is some fun you can have and it's free: Go to Walmart on the 1st of the month (when it lands on a Friday). WHAT A FREAK SHOW!!! I kid you NOT!
  • Do you remember the store Best?
  • Do you remember G&H Greenstamps? I remember they used to have a store off Seminary in South Fort Worth. I never remember seeing people there.
  • Hey, I got a great new video up... Watch it here.
  • Germany blocked my 'Professor of Dirt Halloween Special'. Yes, the whole country! Someone filed a complaint about my use of Louis Armstrong's 'It's a Wonderful World' in the video so my German fans can't see it anymore. Here it is in case you are wondering.

Wednesday Thoughts

  • I think I got all the animals out from under the house!
  • I digress, I caught a neighbor cat the other day. Not finished yet.
  • New Fairview needs to crack down on land owners and their trash.
  • I hope the neighborhood looks better before we try to sell.
  • The whole Chupacubra thingy is silly. It took the WHOLE front page of the Wise County Messenger (basically).
  • Chris came over for our weekly meeting and I think we got some good stuff covered (as well as some NetRunner)!
  • Payday... won't my creditors be happy...
  • I am having problems uploading correct aspect videos to YouTube. I will keep trying I guess.
  • Well, it looks like the democrats are defeated in the whole health care debate. All the sudden they got real 'civil' sounding and I think that makes me more frightened.

Monday Thoughts

  • There is this old lady who works the doors at the Burleson Walmart who is... a little strange. I don't think she really listens to what you say when she says hello or goodbye. Saturday morning after she did her crazy 'bye' I said 'cheese'. I don't think she ever noticed.
  • There are some hills out infront of our house and in the morning when I am leaving you can usually see some cows milling about out there. It's very beau colic.
  • I finished watching all 11 season of MASH (again). The last episode is a little too long. It was nice it was all wrapped up thought. Many shows just end without resolution.
  • Watching a show like that makes me wonder how I would have dealt with being drafted and going to war...
  • It makes me think I have lead a very easy life.
  • So now the scuttle is that the democrats might bypass a proper vote if they loose their super majority because of the Massachusetts vote (with some special type vote).
  • Are they really trying to loose THAT big in the next election?
  • If they do pass it by hook or by crook they will go on and on (no matter how crappy and useless the bill will be) of how the democrats passed 'sweeping reform'. Puke.
  • Payback is a bitch.
  • I don't like federal holidays. I work in the healthcare industry and they mean nothing to us except, no mail and no open banks.
  • Chris came over Thursday and we played some netrunner and filmed a little bit for Season 2 of the show.

Friday Thoughts

  • Roads like the George W Bush Turnpike in Dallas must annoy Liberals. I think I would be annoyed by a Bill Clinton Highway.
  • Took my oldest (cat) to the doc because she is having issues. They are checking blood work to see what might be causing her illness.
  • This Amazon product listing has so many heresies in it I am surprised Jesus doesn't come back to put a stop to it. Check EVERYTHING on this link. You will be laughing or crying by the end of it.
  • Have you NOT seen the show The IT Crowd yet... well you should, check it out, it's on Netflix online.
  • Took Hitler House Cat to be fixed this morning. She will go live with her new family on Monday I guess.

Wednesday Thoughts

  • When did a STOP sign turn into: 'slow a little bit'.
  • I stop extra long when someone is behind me because I just know they won't stop, so I am making up for them.
  • On the news it's funny to hear people say "we need to have this race discussion". What exactly is that??? What can you accomplish with a discussion and the deep-seeded nature of some people?
  • I find it funny how it's always a big deal when a white person says something off color, but black people can say what ever and no one batts an eyelash.
  • It's double funny how Harry Reid said something and it was quickly swept aside SIMPLY for the sake of holding the heath bill on life support. Any other time and he would have been immolated.
  • Caught another (different) possum last night. I hope that's all of them.
  • I like Sarah Brightman, but man she seems vapid (check out Phantom of the Opera videos on Youtube). I have seen her in interviews and the vapidness is real.

Monday Thoughts

  • Who needs to keep track of what his supporters say, the president himself blamed Bush for everything the other day in a speech.
  • At some point you have to take credit for your lack or results.
  • I wonder how a public would treat a president who just fessed up EVERY time things didn't work out perfectly.
  • I think humility would get you MUCH farther than the blame-game.
  • I don't think ANY president would be that open and honest.
  • If a Republican used the work negro, THE WORLD WOULD COME TO A STOP.
  • Double standard.
  • Oh well, Nevada is listening.
  • This will be an interesting election cycle.
  • On to other news...
  • 2 (count them!) 2 of my pipes burst this weekend. Time to get under the house AGAIN.
  • Ni America (the EVIL EMPIRE) did it again. They 'failed' to send me December's bill. Luckily I had overpaid in November (remember all that mess).
  • I sent a complaint in to the Better Business Bureau about them.
  • I also sent an email complaint to them.
  • I got a phone call back today, they want to talk to me.
  • I don't want to talk to them.
  • We took the cat that was living under the house ('hitler house cat' if you remember from previous posts) and we put her inside. She is very sweet and we are trying to find a home for her.
  • Then I closed up the holes in the skirting and put the trap under than and promptly caught a possum. They are everywhere out here.
  • I am going to put the trap under there again tonight.

Thursday Thoughts

  • It's payday, won't my creditors be happy...
  • Yesterday I saw yet another brilliant defense of the current administration, when asked who's fault the pantybomber got as far as he did a Demo-dummy said it was Bush's fault (I kid you not, they were serious).
  • The blamed the inactivity of the 911 commission. When it was pointed out that it was a democrat congress, she changed her tune and re blamed Bush.
  • I found an online version of Settlers of Catan (for free). Man I am having fun with it.
  • I tried to get to work early this morning and I got about a mile down the road and I headed back home. I just came to work late.
  • I hope none of the pipes burst tonight...
  • The back arrow and up arrow on my keyboard are out, that really sucks.
  • On my home pc, not my work one.

Tuesday Thoughts

  • The Settlers of Catan is a fantastic board game that is easy to play. You should try it out if you have never played it.
  • I am trying to find players here at the hospital but it looks like no one is interested in it.
  • Now if it was called, hog huntin' maybe they would be interested... I kid, I kid!
  • On a strange note, I noticed that the Character BJ Honeycut on M.A.S.H. is the only character to appear to clean his 'junk' while in the shower. While dialogue is going on in the shower (which is pretty often), he will reach down and appear to lift his leg and appear to be gettin' after it. Funny.
  • Having been basically 'jilted' by the Bridgeport Off 380 players 3 times now I have given up on the idea of being a volunteer with them. Pitty, I am one of those steadfast people who will show up when ever needed and who can be fiercely loyal.
  • By being 'jilted' I mean I tried 3 times to get any of them to say 'show up here at this this time'... never happened.

Monday Thoughts

  • Spent the night at Winstar's hotel. Nice enough place.
  • My clothes smell like smoke.
  • Lost my ass on Black Jack (in no time flat).
  • That place is big... too big.
  • Quiet new year's eve. I was asleep, didn't hear the usual gunfire.
